"Sam I Am" (Sami) is a 5 year old Friesian/Arabian cross gelding who is well started under saddle and to the cart, though he has not been hitched in over a year. Sami is currently working at the walk, trot and canter. Needs polish on transitions and collection of course, but he is steadily improving. Sami was ridden on trails most of last summer and has been with a professional trainer for approximately 35 days at the time of this video. Sami will continue with his trainer until sold. Though Sami is diminutive in size, he has a huge heart and would enjoy having his own person with whom to bond. Like any young boy, Sami is sometimes easily distracted, but over all, he has good work ethic and is eager to please. Good ground, stable and pasture manners. Stands to groom, tack and mount.
Sami is recommended for the confident intermediate handler and will be the perfect horse for the experienced smaller rider or trainer to take on. He has a great deal of potential both in driving and under saddle. The very best of homes is critical to us. Special consideration to trainers! Please note that video was taken April 1st, however, canter footage at the end was done early March and was added only because camera batteries failed before we could get the canter on the day of April taping!
