San Raphael known as Rafa around the barn, is a 9 year old registered Oldenburg gelding. Rafa is a very elegant type with 3 correct and expressive gaits. He definitely turns heads at the shows. Rafa has competed in the small tour successfully in Florida and Canada this past year. He is working on the Grand Prix movements and has a natural ability for passage. I have had Rafa in training since being backed as a 4 year old. He is a pleasure to train as he has a lovely disposition and is a barn favorite. Rafa is talented enough to be a great new partner for a pro but also very safe and sane for an ambitious AA. He has been perfectly sound with zero maintenance.
