SASHAY: 2013 GRP Mare, 14h, bay (Beaujolais X Sonata - GRP/Welsh mare)

Already proven at carriage driving shows and would enjoy being a CDE pony; started over fences; ready for training level dressage - with potential to excel at any of these disciplines. Would probably love eventing, too!

Bred by Tenacious Acres and registered with RPSI/Westfalen NA. Silver Premium at her foal inspection. Several full siblings succeeding in H/J, dressage, and driving.

Trained to drive in 2017. Currently in her second year of showing at ADS carriage driving shows in the Midwest with many wins & top three placings to her name already in pleasure classes and cones. Did her first ADT in July and won her division. Started correctly: three excellent gaits, plus solid slow, working and strong trots (driving); soft mouth; well-balanced with great bend; sensitive to the aids; smart and enjoys learning new things; forward and loves to work. Has also done water obstacles, too.

Trained to ride by talented 13-year- old rider under trainer's tutelage in late summer 2018 with a strong dressage foundation and would be a contender for the Dressage Pony Cup or Pony Finals. Went to a hunter-jumper show in November 2018 and competed in crossrails/short stirrup division. Will continue to show at H/J shows this summer and will likely make her dressage debut, too.

Keeps getting better with every new experience.

Also has some positive reinforcement ("clicker") training. LOVES to "play" for treats. For example, will stand on a pedestal.

UTD on everything; great ground manners; ties/cross ties quietly, including for bathing; good for farrier (great feet, has always been barefoot); Travels well, settling right in at a horse show. PPE welcome at buyer's expense.
