Solace II (Saul) is a black 16 hand 2013 registered CSHA warmblood gelding. He is well bred for dressage on top and bottom, with names like Rubenstein I, Sandro Hit, and Donnerhall. He has a respectful, confident, laid-back demeanor, and will be an amateur's dream when finished. He crossties well, hauls quietly, trail rides without drama, and always has his big fuzzy nose in everything you're doing. He was started under saddle in October of 2016, going nicely walk/trot/canter, trotting crossrails, with a natural affinity for lateral work. However, due largely to an increase in my work schedule, he has been basically sitting for a couple months and needs restarted back into a program because frankly he's gotten fat and sassy on his vacation. I have finally admitted to myself that I don't have the time or energy to get him back on track right now, and I would rather see him go to someone who can do that than have him sitting here until I someday find this magical "free time." He'll be a quick and easy flip for a trainer or experienced amateur, as he's extremely smart and has the demeanor of an overgrown puppy - he just needs someone to establish some consistency and boundaries again. I was planning to list him for $18-20k at the end of this season, but seeing as we didn't get to where I wanted, I'm asking $14,500 and will consider offers. I got him directly from the breeder, so I know his entire history and am an open book to all questions about health, training, etc. - just ask!
