This handsome boy quickly melts the hearts of everyone he meets. He is happy and enthusiastic undersaddle with a great work ethic and is eager to please his rider and learn new things and gives a safe feel. He moves nicely off the leg without being hot or overly sensitive. Standing at 16.1 hh and having three balanced, correct and comfortable gaits, he'd make a perfect Amateur horse. He takes up the contact well, without being heavy. He is very safe to handle and loves his brushing and attention as well. He was imported from Germany in the fall of 2023, and has been progressing nicely undersaddle. He attended his first schooling show this summer showing at First Level and receiving a 70% and 71%, he has started all second level movements at home, as well as started to play with the introduction of flying changes. He also went along to a bigger show venue to school for a weekend in August 2024, and was a superstar in both warm up rings and show rings. He loves to jump as well and shows lovely technique over fences, and would make a lovely partner to develop for the hunter rings as well. He has been off property to school over fences several times, and also participated in two Silver Series shows at the end of August and start of September 2024, receiving several ribbons in his over fences classes and a first place in one of his hack classes in a field of 25 horses, all with an amateur rider. We have an extensive hacking trails around our property as well, and Schnitzel has been hacking with a companion many times, always taking everything in stride and calmly walking past new things, over different/uneven footing, through the woods, etc. He tends to approach life with a great deal of confidence and curiosity and is always willing to give new things a try. This gelding is sure to take his rider far with his superior temperament, and provide plenty of fun along the way.

He is well behaved to handle, loads like a dream and behaves well for Farrier and Vet. His teeth have been recently floated, he is on a regular vaccination program and farrier schedule. Currently barefoot, he has nice solid feet, and clean, correct legs. X-rays are available to interested parties.

His sire Secret needs hardly any introduction nowadays, as a stallion that has been popular for several years for his superior movement and type, and also receiving high rideability marks in his stallion testing. Secret is maintaining his popularity now as a proven sire; with his offspring coming into work undersaddle and showing themselves to be great movers and just as rideable as their sire. On the dam's side is the stallion Florestan, a stallion that is well known in the dressage world for his type, temperament and rideability, and produced 80 licensed sons in his time.
