Gorgeous 6 year old 16.1 hand registered Westphalian bay mare. Schön is your dressage, eventing, or hunter/jumper prospect! She was started two years ago and been over fences but could use someone to really bring out her full potential. Schön's previous owner trained her in eventing and took her to horse trials. Currently, Schön is in training at Pine Ridge Equestrian Center, a hunter/jumper stable in Eagle River, Wisconsin. The trainer reports Schön is smart, willing to try whatever is asked, and shows NO behavioral issues (no buck, rear, kick, spook). I'm the current owner and intended her for dressage; however, I cannot ride consistently due to parenthood and frequent travel. Schön prefers to work regularly (3-4 days a week) as she is smart and enjoys having stimulation.

This mare settles right in to new environments! Schön has an inquisitive mind and friendly personality. She loves a good scratch on her neck from anyone who walks by her paddock or stall. With most horses, she tends to be a leader during turnout, however, her paddock mate at home (a 19 yr old pony gelding) rules over her.

Schön is great with vet and farrier, loading/hauling, cross ties, blanketing, and bathing. She has NO vices. She is sound and currently barefoot. There are clean x-rays on file of hocks and feet (Aug. 2024). She's current on vaccines (Oct. 2024) and float (Summer 2024). PPEs are welcome. ZERO maintenance needed.
