Sebastian is a flashy bay 2010 gelding offered for sale. He is 7/8 Hanoverian, 1/8 Paint, with striking mahogany coloration and tons of chrome. He stands just under 16 hands and would probably hit that with shoes. He is bred for the jumper ring, with grandfather Stakkato Gold named Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2015. Sebastian shows huge promise in his form and eagerness over fences and would likely excel in jumpers and eventing. He would also be well suited for dressage with his three decent gaits and powerful hind end. He would be a great investment project, as well as a fun and eager life partner for someone.

He has been lightly started under saddle walk/trot/canter, trotting crossrails, and is doing very well, ready for someone to take him to the next level. He rides calmly in both a rope halter and a bridle, and seeks nice light contact with the bit. His transitions are crisp, and he responds both to verbal cues and hand/seat/leg cues. He maintains a steady pace and is not hot or excitable. He is quick to learn and eager to please, and extremely responsive both on the ground and in the saddle. He is confident and treats things that most horses would spook at with curiosity. He amazes me every day with his progress. However, he is still green and can be willful at times so he will do best under someone with experience starting horses as he does have some areas he's still working on. Videos available.
