Sebastian HM is a 2008 black hanoverian colt by Sandro Hit out of SPS Pakesa (Prince Thatch - Duerkheim). Born March 31st. Exceptional pedigree with FEI dressage performers close up on both sides.
UPDATE: Sebastian went to his first USDF Breed Show on July 11th at Kasson Ridge Farm. He received 8 on Conformation and 8 on General Impression from Gerd Zuther, with comments of:
'beautiful head, good neck, nicely sloped shoulder, well pronounced withers, good topline, typy, rectangular foal, well proportioned between leg and body' and 'nice, impressive trot'. Sebastian then went to his Hanoverian Inspection on July 17th and was named Top Colt! The judges were impressed with his conformation, his expressive trot and the very good use of his hind leg, stepping well underneath himself. Sebastian is developing beautifully, just as his pedigree predicts! Another breed show, Pineland Farm in ME, and Sebastian earns a blue ribbon with a score of 80.6% from Jos Sevreigns. Sebastian received excellent scores in all 4 areas (8.3 conformation, 8.0 walk, 7.9 trot, 8.0 general impression).

Sandro Hit needs no introduction. He has been a top producer through out the world of successful dressage and breeding horses. Winner of the 6 year old World Championships, he has produced Champion FEI young horses who are now showing their worth in the FEI dressage ring.
SPS Pakesa comes from a very strong motherline. She possesses a very powerful hind-end. True to her pedigree, she also has a top walk and exceptional rideability. Truely a special mare. Her full sister, SPS Papagena, is the mother of Hanoverian approved, FEI dressage stallion, Don Principe. Don Principe is currently successfully competing in I1 with scores into the 70s and is doing exceptionally training all the Grand Prix movements. Pakesa's full brother was trained to PSG before a career limiting injury. He is now a successful school master for an adult amateur. I have ridden other young horses from this mare line and they have very willing temperaments with great rideability and very powerful hind-ends.
Sandro Hit - SPS Pakesa is a PROVEN cross in GERMANY. This cross has been repeated again and again. They all have big expressive gaits, beautiful modern conformation and exceptional character/temperament. The 2002 FULL-sibling, Sir Thatch, finished his 30 day test in Germany in 2007. He is currently preparing for his 70 day test. The fourth photo above is of Sir Thatch at his 30 Day Test as a 3 year old. The 2004 FULL-sibling, Shane, was the winner of the Hoya Foal Show in Germany and was declared a stallion prospect by the judge. With beautiful gaits, conformation and presence, Shane has just started his preparations for Verden Licensing Pre-selection. Please see our website to see extensive video of Sebastian's siblings at different ages.
Sebastian is the first of this cross born in the US and available without importation costs. Sebastian is a total charmer, with a beautiful head and eye. He is going to tall and very modern in type. He should mature to 16.3-17.0 hands. Sebastian has three beautiful gaits. His walk is exceptional, just like his SPS mother, who walks for a 9. His canter is uphill, powerful and balanced and his trot shows great suspension and reach from behind.
This is a top dressage prospect with successful FULL siblings in Germany.
