Sekundant is a very well-bred, dark bay yearling gelding with a wonderful mind. This boy never loses his composure. Super level-headed like his dam, long legs and 3 outstanding gaits. A HUGE walk and wonderful cadenced trot along with a nice canter make him a great dressage prospect. His pedigree includes almost every big name in German breeding such as Sandro Hit, Pik Bube, Pik Koenig, Weltmeyer, Wenzel I to name the biggest ones for dressage. His dam top line goes back to Carismo and Calypso II , who are the dominant sires in jumping for numerous breeds as well as the foundation of numerous outstanding dressage lines.
His half sibling (Entourage) from OKW Entrigue, bred for dressage, is an outstanding hunter/jumper. Although there is an emphasis on dressage even his sire line Sinatra Song / Sandro Hit / Sandro has produced outstanding jumpers and this gelding has the potential for anything.
We expect Sekundant to mature to 17+ hands, he is measuring in at 15.1 hands as a yearling and if his large joints are any indication for future size he will have it!
He was perfect as a little colt, he is even more perfect now as a gelding. A total love bug and a good new home is an absolute MUST for this gentle guy.
