Serafino ISF is a handsome 2022 IAHLA registered Lusitano x Warmblood colt sired by the Olympic Grand Prix stallion Rubi AR, and out of Giselle JC, by Edecan III. A replica of his highly acclaimed sire, Serafino is built naturally uphill with a strong, harmonious topline and an excellent type. He already shows very good gaits with an especially noteworthy canter and good adjustability. At four months old, Serafino is personable and friendly in the barn with an endearing character and tons of charm. Serafino is a rare direct son of one of the most successful Lusitano stallions available for breeding today, Rubi AR (Batial x He-Xila by Xaquiro). Granted a 5* merit for dressage by the APSL, Rubi AR represented Portugal at the 2012 Olympics in London, finishing 16th individually with a 77% in the Grand Prix Freestyle and a 74% in the Grand Prix Special. With over 19 international wins during his career, he was also part of the senior championships at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky, and the European Championships in Rotterdam in 2011 and Herning in 2013. Rubi AR was the first Iberian stallion to enter the top 50 on the WBFSH sire rankings for dressage and has proven himself as a remarkable producer with offspring scoring as high as 86% in FEI dressage tests. Notable offspring include the international Grand Prix horses Coroado, Beirao, and Fenix de Tineo. Rubi AR passes on size, beauty, good gaits, and a wonderful work ethic for the upper levels.

Dam Giselle JC is sired by the PRE stallion Edecan III (Campero VII x Deco) and out of the mare Danika JC, a daughter of the Bundeschampion and Reserve World Champion Sir Donnerhall. Her pedigree also boasts the successful Grand Prix competitor and ISF foundation sire Roemer, Preferent. An elegant, typey mare with naturally scopey gaits and a lot of expression, Giselle was confirmed through Third Level dressage.
