Sesame is the epitome of athleticism - she has a long-reaching walk, floaty trot, and commanding canter. This filly is as brave as they come - trailers like a pro and is always keen on exploring or trying something new. She can gallop for days or be equally as content snoozing in her shavings. Her striking chrome and very feminine face makes her eye-catching from every angle. She is leggy, balanced, and has incredibly strong feet.
I purchased her from a very reputable breeder with the intention of raising her as my upper-level eventer. Family health issues and the circumstances surrounding those issues have forced me to make major life changes that no longer afford that goal. Although my plans have changed, I don't want those plans to change for Sesame. I have absolutely no doubt that Sesame has every ounce of potential to become a serious competitor in the worlds of eventing or showjumping. She deserves the opportunity to one day do big things, and thus I'm looking to sell her to a home which will both love and develop her correctly. This filly is in excellent condition: she knows the basics, has been growing appropriately, and has spent the last 9 months both being socialized and building strong bones in daily pasture.

Sesame's Breeding:
Sire: Sanceo
Sanceo a 16.3 Bay Stallion, one of the most decorated dressage stallions in North America today achieving top marks with every goal he has set, and those are many. Most notably he is your 2020 USA Olympic Champion earning team Silver in Tokyo, Japan. The first since 1948 Sanceo anchored the teams medal with a Grand Prix Special score of 81.596 percent. He did not stop there with his Olympic performance qualifying for individuals with a score of 78.416 and garnering 5th place in his truly emotive Grand Prix freestyle that earned an impressive score of 84.300. His teammate and pilot, Sabine Schut-Kery credits their success in part to Sanceo’s desire to work for her and to please, “It comes down to the fact that he’s there for me and I really do feel like we have an incredible partnership. He’s just sensitive, but not over-reactive, simply, he lets me guide him and lets me be the leader,” said Schut-Kery. The pairs "overnight success" is that of 12 years in the making detailed by an enormous and highly successful performance record leading up to the Olympic Performance including Team Gold at the Pan American Games in Toronto and many major wins from Europe to Wellington to California outlined below. His “sudden success” at the highest echelon on the world stage has many European magazine writers wondering where he came from. British Horse and hound wrote “My favorite up and coming star, who stole the show was Sabine Schut-Kery with Sanceo…was a little surprised she did not get a higher mark in the Grand Prix. She rode with so much harmony with her beautiful horse always staying in self carriage, maintaining a light uphill frame. I’m sure it was down to her that the US just pipped us Brits into the bronze medal position.”
Sanceos type is gorgeous balanced, leggy, harmonious, medium frame with very correct legs and hooves. Sanceo’s best attribute is a golden character, smart, sweet, calm, happy to work and to learn.
Sanceo Pedigree
Sire San Remo is a leading dressage sire, 8th in the 2018 WBSFH ranking. A modern dressage horse known for quality movement, type, three outstanding gaits and well balanced nature. San Remo’s character is calm and friendly as is Sanceo. San Remo is sired by Sandro Hit who needs no introduction as part of the illustrious circle of the world's top sires, 2nd in the WBSFH worlds best dressage sires in 2017-18. Producing 190 licensed stallions in Germany alone with 493 State premium mares and many competing internationally. San Remo’s Dam line is Donnerhall/Fruehwind.
Sanceo’s Dam SPS Rivera, a States Premium mare sired by Ramiro’s Son II/Ramiro had 10 offspring, Sanceo was her 6th. Amongst his siblings several states Premium mares, some shown up to level 4 and PSG/I1 in dressage and up to 1.30M in jumping. Ramiro’s Son II produced hard-working and above all sound exquisite sport horses with potential for the highest levels, many competing internationally. Ramiro won international jumping competitions under Fritz Ligges, including Puissance, Nations Cups and Grand Prix and passed on his rideability, movement and jumping talents, siring offspring successful in both jumping and dressage. Ramiro’s most notable offspring Ratina Z, won gold medals at the Olympics followed by first place at the 1993 World Cup with Ludger Beerbaum. Ramiro was fundamental for Zangersheide as well as the KWPN and awarded the ‘Horse of the Year’ title in Amsterdam in 1992. He remains one of the all-time highest Grand Prix producers today. SPS Rivera’s damsire is by the Hanoverian approved, thoroughbred stallion, Star Regent xx who began his career racing produced over 75 Hanoverian, Hessen and Trakehner offspring, amongst them many successful show jumpers and States Premium mares.
Sanceo’s Wins
Sanceos wins are truly impressive, notably the Pan Am games Gold Medal and the Olympic Silver but Sanceo was a winner from the very beginning. It is quite impressive that he was invited to Verden Germany for the World Breeding Championships as a 5 yr old and 6yr old and won the National Developing Prix St George championships before shining in the small Grand Prix tour never missing a beat.

Dam: Good to be Queen
This athletic mare is the full sister to two approved stallions, Good as Gold and Heroic Times who is set to debut at Grand Prix Dressage as well as a 5* Event horse and Grand Prix Jumper, Dutch Times. Good to be Queen was inspected and entered into the selective Hanoverian Main Mare Book in 2021. This is a remarkably versatile and athletic pedigree.

Good to be Queen's cross was such a success for breeder Lauren Efford of Goldhope Farm it has been repeated numerous times with outstanding success. Good as Gold also an approved stallion with Oldenburg NA stallion was Reserve Champion Sporthorse Stallion at Hilltop Farm as a 3 year old. Other full siblings some still young and upcoming include, Epic Times, Fantastic Times, Graceful Queen and Notorious.
Sire, Goodtimes (Nimmerdor/Caletto I/Wahnfried) both of Goodtimes’ sire and dam sire are 1.60m stallions who have jumped at the highest international level and are first class breeding stallions. As a 3 year old stallion Goodtimes was champion of his stallion test, his full brother Mercedes was 2nd in the Grand Prix of Indio. Goodtimes has many successful offspring including several approved sons and is the sire of various Champion foals and Champion mares. His son, Lucky Times, became, at both the ages of 4 and 5, Champion of the Pavo Cup and successfully competed at Grand Prix, was the winner of the Grand Prix of Leeuwarden and Zuidlaren. His son Kennet W was, in 2006, the Reserve Champion of the Dutch Young Riders and was the winner of the Team Gold Medal at the European Championship for Young Riders. More About Offspring by Goodtimes
The offspring of Goodtimes jump nationally as well as internationally at the top level. Son Obelix won the Grand Prix and the World Cup Qualifier of Spruce Meadows in 2006. Lorenzo was 2nd in the Budweiser Upperville Jumper Classic and also was winner of the Pan Am Championship. Daughter Lenie became 3rd in the World Cup Qualifier of Dubai and son Kenwood was winner of the Stallion jumping in Neustadt Dosse. But also consider progeny like: Lancer, Tildes Gabanta, Kris Kentauer, London Times, Magnum and Hildon's Cacharel, all of whom placed in several Grand Prix. VDL Kalusha placed 2nd in the Derby of Eindhoven and Kris Kentaur won the European Young Riders Championship. Fabius 45 and his young rider A. Bond were the youngest combination at the trials for the Olympics in the USA. His daughter Tequila won the Championship of the 5 year old horses in Wellington and son Lifetime was ‘Hunter of the Year’ three times in the USA. Son Tigger VDL became reserve-Champion of the Canada Western Championships for 6-years old jumpers. Goodtimes daughter Bella Donna became provincial foal Champion and in Scotland one of his sons became Champion at the National Foal Show of Scotland. Daughter Wildcard became 4th in the NAWPN top 10 for jumping and movement. Goodtimes is an all-purpose breeding stallion. He sires horses for dressage, jumping and beautiful types.
