A farm favorite to ride and school - this mare looks better than ever in work spring 2018 - she needs to go to a doting show home!

SF Daquiri likes to be the first greeted in the barn every morning, and first to go to work. This mare loves attention - She is well started, walk-trot-canter, showing talent both for dressage and over fences. She has been allowed to mature slowly - we had planned to keep her for our breeding program, but have decided she deserves a career first. Her full brother SF Dominico is having success in the derbies and making his new owner happy. This mare is confident and very outgoing - she is 100% sound and has been started professionally. She is a solid mare to ride and show, and later breed. Daquiri's trot and canter are balanced and rhythmic, she has the talent to jump, and the mind to bond with her riding partner and perform in dressage. This is the kind of horse that loves head hugs and bonding moments - she would be suitable for either an adult amateur or junior rider.

Daquiri's sire is the imported Donnerhall x Pik Koenig - Graphit dressage stallion Der Graf, who stood for many years at Solomon Farm. Daquri's dam Kelly is a Swedish warmblood mare who before becoming a successful broodmare showed in the hunter ring. Kelly’s foals have always been amongst the best movers, scoring high Gold Premiums at their Keuring. Her offspring are also easy going, and have shown a good work ethic once started under saddle.

Dam Sire: Leopard 590 was born in 1975 and purchased as a foal by Flyinge, the Swedish Stallion Station. The Swedish Breed Society judged him as a noble, and good tempered horse with excellent gaits and good jumping technique at his licensing. Exported to the U.S.A. in 1988 following a several year lease, Leopard 590 produced many above average foal crops. From Leopard came 47 stud book mares, 12 diploma mares, and the approved stallion Galapard CRB 9038, who competed in Dressage and Show Jumping.

Dam Line: Aquarell is a Trakehner mare from the female family of Amica. The family of Amica produced the Grad Prix, Trakehner approved stallion Adenauer by Marduc, Swedish Warmblood approved Jumping sire Amadeus by Traumgeist xx, and KWPN approved dressage sire Amagun by Gunnar.The grand daughter of Aquarell, Anhanglish by Egmont produced the ATA approved stallion Apollo Sun.

Daquiri has always been sound, uncomplicated and healthy and she is up to date on shots and deworming. X-rays on file.
