Shamrock is a 2015 unregistered Irish Sport Horse/Belgian Warmblood mare. She was started as a five year old, and was used as a trail horse for some time. She has extensive trail miles, and has done a couple week long rides with a group of 100+ horses and riders, and stood on a picket line overnight. Shamrock has even finished a limited distance endurance ride. She also has been used as a ranch horse, working cattle, has been roped off of. She has had one very nice colt, with a very strait forward breeding and foaling, and was a very good mother.
Aside from all of this, Shamrock’s main job has been as a Fieldhunter. She will hunt in any field, but is forward and prefers first flight. She is a very good, natural jumper, and regularly jumps 3’ on the hunt field. Shamrock loves her jobs, but would also excel as an eventer or in the jumper ring. She has no recognized competition miles, but has gone to hunter paces and other hunt and jumping fun days.
Shamrock lives outside 24/7 in a small herd but is also fine being in a stall. She tends to be middle of the herd and is good with mares and geldings. She is often in front shoes or barefoot when she doesn’t need to be shod with traction for hunting. She has no vices, and is good for everything.
