Shenandoah is a 16 hh, 2013 Welsh Cob gelding by FEI Champion Powysvalley Trooper York out of Derwen Breuddwyd Replica. He is a stunning chestnut with a beautiful head, sweet eye, wide blaze and four white socks. He clips, bathes, trailers, is good for the farrier and vet - No vices!

Stewie, as he is known at home, can be a tad shy at first, but quickly grows to love people around him, especially his owner. He is extremely willing and kind, but he does appreciate it when someone gives him a moment if there is something fun to look at. He does not spook, buck or bolt.

This fun guy has shown and is exactly the same at home as at shows. He has scores in the 70's at Training level, Test 3 and as well scores in the 70's at First level, Test 3. At the first show in 2019, Stewie was the high point in his Training level, Test 3!

He has three comfortable gaits with his canter being a highlight. His canter is very uphill, balanced and smooth and is very easy to extend and collect.

This sweet guy is a joy to work with on the ground and in the saddle. He comes with a lifetime registration to the USDF.

He is very well suited for just about any rider who is comfortable with younger horses…JR, YR, AA! He is continuing to learn and advance daily and loves to train or just go for a hack.

Stewie is currently in full training with USDF Gold Medal rider Simone Ahern in Elbert, CO (90 min from Denver International Airport and 30 minutes from the Colorado Springs Airport).
