Shetan is a nice 7 yo Oldenburg in need of rehabilitation due to an tendinitis in the right front at the moment. I have known him since a foal and would love to find someone that have the time and would like to take him to do his rehabilitation and have a quality lower level sport horse as an outcome. In 2016, Shetan was diagnosed with a tendinitis in both front superficial digital flexor tendons mostly caused by poor shoeing. he successfully recovered with stall rest, better angle shoeing and progressive return to work. buy summer of 2017 he was schooling 2nd level again and was trained about 4 days a week successfully until august 2018. I could not ride him consistently anymore int he fall due to my busy schedule which is why I decided to advertise him for sale about 3 weeks ago. since september, he just had sporadic easy rides, hacks and T/O. Unfortunately, 2 weeks ago I noticed some swelling in the right front and heat. I had an ultrasound done last week and it shows 50% tendon tear. he is 1/5 for lameness (almost nothing) and sensitive to palpation.

he will need most likely 6 months stall rest, aloud to walk (even under saddle) and stable wraps overnight ans hydrotherapy. at this point, I have absolutely no time to rehabilitate him and the barn is located 1h away from my house making it difficult to do the cares. so I am offering Shetan to any reasonable offers. most important is a caring loving person. once recovered you will find a athletic, willing to work horse. his prognosis is reserved at the moment, but my vet thinks his chances to heal fully are high due to is young age. with a consistent program, proper care and shoeing, he could be a sound and capable riding horse again. very amateur friendly under saddle, just need someone confident on the ground as he can be playful.

Shetan ( Shakespeare RSF/Winterprinz/Vienna Waltz) is an elegant modern type gelding. He stands at 16.2h and is now 7 yo (DOB 2011). He won foal of distinction at his inspection for Oldenburg Verband out of 14 foals. Shetan is a lovely amateur friendly horse and is schooling third level mouvments. He Shown in the FEI 4 and 5 year old classes with scores up to 76%. Due to unfortunate circomstances, Shetan needed a year off from the fall of 2016 to the spring of 2017 but is now back in full work for the past year. He is nicely forward, uncomplicated to ride and have the ability to develop into an upper level horse. Unfortunatly we are lacking time to develop his training further along and we would love to find him a new home. No buck, rear or bolt.
