UPDATE: Shevelle is back under saddle and is getting back in shape.

Shevelle is homozygous agouti and homozygous black, so she can never produce a chestnut. She is heterozygous pinto so will pass color 50/50.
This is special mare with a funny quirky personality. She has superb ground manners and an open minded disposition. Absolutely no vices. She loves water and is fun on trail. Shevelle has movement for upper level dressage, but training wise she is still green. She has been ridden on and off since started under saddle as a late 4yr old and has mainly been ridden dressage, although was only shown once. She is honest to fences and has been shown in a pace and chase over cross country obstacles. She is a sensitive hot type mare at times, but she does calm down again after an “argument”. She is not for a beginner as she is tall and can appear intimidating. She has had two foals and she had a suspensory injury as a five year old, so she has been ridden and trained rather intermittent. Her suspensory injury was treated with stem cell surgery and she has had many sound years since this happened. She is a one of a kind mare and very dear to me and must find the perfect home. She is not an easy keeper and has special needs. Shevelle has shivers and is kept on high fat low carb diet along w vitamin E/selenium. Her foal from this year has been weaned and Shevelle is back in training.
