His sire Zafferano is an accomplished palomino stallion that is fully approved for Swedish warmblood and Oldenburg Verband. He has a top sport pedigree on both the mother’s and father’s side and an extraordinary talent for dressage while also possessing excellent jumping ability. Zafferano was one of the highest scoring stallions in the 50-days tests in Germany in 2016 with an average score of 8.40 in dressage and 8 in jumping. For his perfect temperament he got a 10 and for rideability 9.5. He placed 3rd in the Swedish 7 year old championships in 2020 and in 2021, at only 8 years of age, Zafferano has wins at Intermediaire 1. He is now aiming for Grand Prix as he shows great talent for piaffe and passage and one-tempis. Zafferano is super sweet and very easy to ride and handle. His foals inherit a modern type with beautiful head and neck, athletic ability, and correct conformation. He also passes along three extraordinary gaits with excellent balance and elasticity. Most importantly they inherit Zafferano’s wonderful temperament.

Special Edition's grand father, legendary Elite stallion Briar had a remarkably long and successful career with the Swedish Olympian rider Jan Brink. Briar has 7 gold medals from the Swedish Championships, more than 30 international Grand Prix victories, 8 World Cup finals, and 3 Olympic Games with medals and high rankings. The pedigree of the Swedish-bred Briar is top-class and full of double talents. Briar’s temperament and rideability have ensured that a great number of his progeny have successfully competed at top-level in both Dressage, Show Jumping and Eventing and he has also more than 10 approved sons.

Leo’s dam, Chika is a 17.2 hand large modern Westfalen imported from Germany. And before you say jumper blood let me tell you she is one of the best dressage mares in my stable and has a very very strong hind leg and why I purchased her as a dressage breeder. Rockwell is the dam’s damsore and very prominent in her foals.
Her sire Captain Fire is one of my favorite horses of all time and started a career in 2003 as a premium stallion at the NRW licensing in Münster-Handorf, in 2004 he completed an excellent 30-day test in which he not only impressed in jumping, but also in all three basic gaits.
Captain Fire produced licensed and award-winning stallions. The licensed stallions Lexington and Con Capitol as well as the internationally successful jumper Corrada under Peter Charles / IRL also come from the Holstein line of 1446. Among his most successful offspring is Felix Haßmann's SIG Captain America.
He was so easy to ride and successful his owner wanted to show him.
Since 2010 Captain Fire has been at the Zashkow stud in the Ukraine, he was there with his owner several times Ukrainian amateur champion.
Before that, he was highly placed under Henrik von Eckermann's saddle before and after the breeding season in 2009, including at the international World Cup tournament in Leipzig. There he was able to place in all three youngster classes on the front ranks. With Marco Kutscher in the saddle, he was highly placed at international tournaments in Stockholm, Munich and Paris.
In 2007, Captain Fire, just barely beaten, took second place in the Holsteiner Masters Future Prize, after having secured the crown of the best five-year-old show jumper with 9.4 at the 2006 Bundeschampionat.
The pedigree is no stranger to the dressage ring. Today Ellen Trouille of Germany competes Captain Fleurop in FEI Dressage.

Rockwell
He sired 12 licensed sons in Germany, including Revolverheld, Rock Forever I and II and Rostropowitsch, as well as 12 state premium daughters. Daughter Rapalla was 2000 Rhinelander Elite Mare Champion. Famous offspring by Rock Forever are the 2019 Bundeschampionate finalist Rock Revolution (now sold to Kristy Oatley), the PSI auction price highlight Revenant (Rudolf Widmann), World Young Horse Championship participants Rock on Top and Riano as well as Grand Prix horse Rihanna Forever (Martin Pfeiffer). He also produced licensed stallion Rocky Lee, sire of the million euro stallion Revolution.
