4 year old, 16.3 h PREMIUM German Oldenburg (GOV) gelding by Shakespeare RSF (Sandro Hit/Arrian) out of Elite Mare Fhashion Model (Florencio/Akut). Super under saddle- no lunging needed and he is as solid a citizen as they come. Shuper Mario was a PREMIUM foal who we felt was good enough to present as a stallion to the GOV, but it wasn't his best day... Now gelded and being sold as a super riding horse. He is very tall and substantial without being coarse. His movement is very good and so is his rideability. He never exhibited stallion behavior on the ground or under saddle as a stallion, so his training as a gelding under saddle has been steady and he is advancing quickly.
Put your money where your mouth is, my mother always used to say, so we actually take our young horses off property to schooling and recognized shows. We took Shuper Mario to a local schooling show in Aug, 2016 where he did two tests. This was his second time off the property and his second time in a dressage ring. He was the high score of the show with a 73.409% at training level test 3 and was 2nd in training level test 2 with a 69.615%. He was perfect in the warm-up and in the ring and acted like a pro who had tons of show experience.
Shuper Mario's sire, Shakespeare RSF is not only proving himself under saddle, he has been our top producer of Premium foals and super riding horses. Shakespeare RSF is sired by Sandro Hit. I know the word on the streets is that Sandro Hit offspring can be hot in their temperament, but we have found that is far from the case with Shakespeare and his offspring. Shakespeare is just 12 years old. He was competed this year at the Intermediare II level ridden by Marcus Orlob, winning all three classes entered so far at Global Dressage in Wellington, FL with scores ranging from 74% to 77%. He is schooling all of the Grand Prix movements. For a breeding stallion, this is quite a feat- it takes a superior minded individual to accomplish this! In addition to his performance career, Shakespeare RSF has sired 3 licensed stallions, 45 Premium foals, 15 Foals of Distinction, and top winners at Hanoverian inspections and breed shows.
Shuper Mario's dam is sired by the world champion Florencio, known for having achieved 10's on his canter and twice named champion at the WFSHB finals. in 2015, Florencio’s great influence in breeding was recognised by the KWPN and Florencio received the prestigious title ‘Keur’. Again and again, Florencio’s offspring prove themselves: several offspring scores over 70% at Grand Prix level – including the approved stallion Florenciano, ridden by Hubertus Schmidt, nearly 40 sons of Florencio are approved stallions, including the KWPN approved Charmeur, his son Borencio won the Pavo Cup for young dressage horses twice and many times his daughters turned out as true stars at KWPN Mare Inspections. Shuper Mario's dam achieved the Elite Mare title from the American Hanoverian Society as a three year old and she is from a mare line that has produced many mare champions and performance horses.
