Two blues came home with us from our first show of the year! His second time off the farm he was born and raised at and he handled it well - quiet, obedient, workmanlike. Did not fuss over rider mistakes and tension. Two of the top 5 highest scores of the showday.

Continues to do well and stay sound in daily work. Counter canters coming along, green but quiet, clean flying changes both directions, started work on walk pirouette and is doing well.

77.5% 1st class of 1st show he has ever been in! 8s on gaits and many others, 8.5 on stretchy walk and on trot work :) Highest score of the show and won a nice cooler too.

He is ready to go on showing having been in consistent training. No bucking, rearing, or bolting. Working 1st/2nd level correctly and consequently. He has a comfortable to sit and pretty trot, is quite forgiving and very tolerant. He knows walk/trot/canter/leg yield, haunches in, shoulder in, lengthened trot, working on half pass, counter canter, canter/walk/canter transitions - ready to continue building on his basics with you.

Has been introduced to jumping and took to it very well. Brave, steady to the fences, can take a joke, looks for the fence, not a way around.
