This eye-catching youngster by the legendary elite stallion Sandro Hit, shines with talent and has the most lovely temperament. Simon has inherited his sires expressive lofty movement. On top of his talent Simon is an absolute sweet heart. Always the first horse to say hi at the field gate, loves to be handled and loves to cuddle. He is inquisitive, kind and gentle natured and tries hard to please. He has been lightly worked in hand and so far has been a total natural at everything. He lunges, wears a surcingle and has been bridled. He is a joy to work with, easy going and eager to please. No doubt he will be a pleasure to start under saddle and bring up the levels.
His sire Sandro Hit needs no introduction, arguably a foundation sire for the modern dressage type. And his dam line is also well reputed. HIs grandsire on the dam side is half brother to Anky's legendary Bon Fire.
Simon received high praise at the GOV inspection, it was agreed that he had excellent conformation, his Sire's movement and a bright future as a performance horse (commentary and video available). At the FEH inspection Simon's scored an impressive 82% with comments praising his uphill type and expressive movement (test card available). Simon should mature to 16.3 or 17 hh. His long legs, perfect amount of white and elegant build will create a beautiful picture for the show ring. This special young horse has a rare combination of talent and temperament, he is someones future star and sweet heart!
Simon is priced below value as he has some imperfections on his x-rays, however he is 100% sound and passes flexion tests perfectly. Due to the imperfections in his x-rays he is perfect for someone not looking for a re-sale project but looking for a forever horse to move up the levels in dressage, hunters or eventing... this horse will shine in any arena!
