Red Gate Sport Horses is operated by the mother-daughter team of Vicki Foerster and Angel Mackenzie. We have been near Kemptville, Ontario since 2000 and have been progressively expanding our 18-acre facility that now includes a 60’ x 130’ indoor arena, two barns with 15 stalls, a round pen, and a number of pastures. Angel actively competes our horses in eventing, jumper and dressage and has competed several horses to the eventing Preliminary and Intermediate/ CIC** level. Angel takes a particular interest in starting and producing the horses with a focus on our home-breds. Our breeding philosophy: Using horses with proven sport pedigrees, primarily of Hanoverian, Holsteiner, and Trakehner lines, we strive to breed rideable, athletic horses. We aim to breed horses that we want to ride – and we hope that you will want to ride them too! From time to time, we have high quality horses for sale including foals, prospects and experienced competition horses.
