SONATA is a 2024 AHS filly by the impressive young stallion SAN TO ALATI out of our homebred KWPN and AHS approved mare OVATION (Franziskus x Roman Nature). SONATA is everything we hoped for with this cross and as the AHS judge stated, “she is the exact type we are looking for!” Sonata has a sweet demeanor and an “easy” temperament just as you’d expect with the Secret, Belissimo, and F lines. Although she is a weanling, she bathes, leads, and handles much more like a much older horse - a true credit to her easy temperament!

Thanks to his excellent rideability and willingness to perform, the stallion enjoys the highest reputation in sport and breeding.
OVATION is by Franziskus out of Roman Holiday (Roman Nature). Ovation is a 2019 KWPN mare who was recently inspected by the AHS and admitted into the Main Mare Book with high praise. Ovation’s highlights from her inspection include her head, neck, impulsion/elasticity (trot), walk, overall impression, and development. The judge found her overall type and feminity beautiful. Ovation has three high quality gaits, with a big walk with lots of over-reach and swing, her trot has impulsion with a lovely free shoulder, and she canters in an uphill manner. Ovation's temperament is pleasing and she is a fast learning. Ovation’s first foal in 2023 was a filly by the stallion Secret. As a yearly, that filly is currently 15.3 hands tall.
