I have come to the difficult decision to find a new home for my five year old 16.2 Oldenburg bay mare.

Sophia comes from a long line of proven upper level dressage horses. Sophia received 1st Premium at her foal inspection. She is sired by Sir Gregory out of Tiamo Furiosa. Her sire, Sir Gregory, was the winner of his 30 day stallion test with an overall score of 8.85 with a score of 9.08 in the dressage phase. Sophia’s dam, Tiamo Furiosa, was 6th in the nation as a weanling. Her grand dam, O’ So Friendly, was 2010 USDF Horse of the Year. Sophia’s grand sire, Tiamo Trocadero, was an International GP stallion on the short list for the British Olympic Team.

Sophia is very friendly, maternal and easy to work with……..on the ground. Under saddle she has tension, crowhopping type of bucking issues. No rearing or bolting. Numerous vet exams - normal results, saddle fit checked, treated for ulcers(not diagnosed - just in case). I am 66 and no longer bounce. Sophia had a reproductive exam two years ago with normal results.
