Sophie is a very talented 7-year-old Oldenburg mare, a true gem with a remarkable pedigree. With Sir Gregory and Roemer in her background, she brings elegance, strength, and a natural talent for the higher levels of dressage to the arena. Her uphill movement, trainability, and balance in all three gaits make her an ideal partner for competitive riders. Sophie has been used as a broodmare the last few years, and she is back in training now under saddle. She is sound for breeding and takes well with frozen semen as well as cooled. She is sound and has clean stifle, hooves, back and hock radiographs (we haven't scanned anything else but don't know of any issues) She was a Foal of Distinction at her GOV inspection and is GOV approved in the main stud book where she scored well. We are downsizing our mare herd and she and other mares are for sale.
