Sparty was started by a professional in Jan 2020, and continues to be in full time training with her (Sandy Kantor/Schocharie Ridge Farm). He is light in the bridle, has three lovely gaits and a fantastic mind. He is forward and sensitive without being hot, very willing to work, and totally uncomplicated. He has lovely and correct conformation, has had no health or soundness issues, and has not required shoes at all despite being in full time training. He is a joy to handle, has excellent manners, and gets along well with other horses in turnout. He loads, bathes, is good for the vet, farrier, etc and has no vices. With unlimited potential, he is suitable for pros or ambitious amateurs alike.

Sire, the Grand Prix, Ster, Sport stallion Eeltsje F (aka "Bob") is quite simply one of the most accomplished Friesian stallions of all time. By Fabe 348 and out of Ster, Preferant Friesian mare, Iduna (by Tjimme x Ewoud -- also dam to approved Sport, Preferant stallion, Anton 343), Eeltsje's list of accomplishments is jaw-dropping. Under German rider/trainer and USDF gold medalist Nicole Glusenkamp, he earned top national rankings in year-end awards for his entire career - against all breeds - and in 2013, became the #1 Grand Prix Friesian in the U.S.. He continued to rank nationally among the best and among all breeds up to his retirement from competition in the late 20-teens.
