Show results! Shelene went to a schooling dressage show August 13 where she won both of her classes (training 3 and first 1) with a 69% and a 68%, achieving the highest scores of the show not including intro level. She was perfectly behaved the entire day. NEW VIDEO August27, 2024! She is now at my friend’s farm being ridden by her 16-year-old daughter since I no longer have an in-house rider/trainer and my farm is for sale. Over all 8.0 on her GOV mare inspection. 82.5% and 82.1% Intro C and Training level test 1 at her first ever schooling dressage show in January 2024. Shelene is super to ride in a smaller package. She demonstrates active movement with a volunteer attitude under saddle. She is forward thinking and good in the contact, although still very green. She is improving with every ride- all you can ask for in a young riding horse. We are excited about her because she is the first foal sired by my homebred stallion, Shavane. We were surprised she is a chestnut, since dad is dark brown, mom is bay out of a black mare, but the good thing is that Shelene looks exactly like EM Rheporter, Shavane's dam, and that is a very good thing! Selene was the Greek goddess of the moon, which she drove every night across the skies.

Shelene did the German Oldenburg inspection (overall inspection score of 8.0!) and Mare Performance Test on August 17, 2023 at our farm. She did super, receiving a score of 7.78 on her mare test. She received 8.5 in rideability, 8's on free walk, walk under saddle, trot under saddle, and 7.5's on free trot, free canter, and canter under saddle. We put her through the free jump chute, since we had it set up for the Hanoverian inspection and she jumped confidently with a good form the very first times through. She is a really fun horse to ride, in a perfect size for a lady rider, and the rideability for an amateur to have fun on.

Shelene's sire, Shavane, is a 2011 Fully Licensed and Approved German Oldenburg (GOV) 16.2 h stallion by Shakespeare RSF (Sandro Hit/Arrian) out of Elite Mare Rheporter (Royal Prince/Weltmeyer). Shavane was licensed by the GOV in 2014 with very high scores (8 breed and sex type, impulsion and elasticity in the trot, general impression and development, canter and saddle position). He then went to the 2015 70 day stallion test in Oklahoma. He would have placed third overall (117.64), 2nd in dressage (127.05) and 5th in jumping (104.19), had he not been severely injured (read- hairline fracture of the LF cannon bone) just a few days before the stadium jumping final days. His scores up to that time included 9.5 temperament, trainability, and rideability, 9.0 character, trot, and gallop cross country, 8.5 canter, walk, and free jumping. He recovered completely and went on to a very successful show career. Shavane's sire, Shakespeare RSF was the 2016 USDF Reserve Champion Horse of the Year for Intermediare II with a median of 74.145% He was also the USEF Dressage Sire of the Year for Sport Horse Breeding. Shavane's dam, EM Rheporter was 2007 Reserve Champion Filly at Dressage at Devon, and GRAND Champion at Dressage at Devon in 2011. She produced a GP horse and many other successful offspring, including Fherrari, who received the highest score ever given in the USA by the German Oldenburg Verband, and was Reserve Grand Champion at Dressage at Devon 2021, 4 year old Prospect Champion and East Coast Breeders Championship Mare Champion in 2022.
Shelene's dam, Special Premium Rhaisonette is a multiple time breed show winner, also trained and shown through third level before broodmare duties. She is sired by Rosentanz (by Rohdiamant) out of Elite Fhlora (by Fuerst Heinrich), who is the maternal half sister to Callaho's Benicio. In 2013, she was Mare Champion at Dressage at Lexington; Mare Champion, Reserve Champion Mature Horse, and Reserve Grand Champion at
Maplewood Warmbloods #1. At 2013 Dressage at Devon she was 2nd in the 4 y.o. and older Maiden Mares, 3rd GAIG/USDF Mare Championship, Reserve Champion GAIG/USDF East Coast Breeders Final. Year-end results placed her 1st in USDF All Breeds Award for GOV.

Shelene is a very attractive filly with three good gaits for dressage or hunter. She is easy to ride, very adjustable, good in the contact and cooperative on the ground and under saddle.

UPDATE- Shelene was taken off property for an off the farm experience and she was perfectly behaved. She loaded and unloaded from the trailer quietly, stood quietly while the other horse was ridden, and behaved perfectly when ridden in the strange arena. What a good girl!
She was entered in a dressage schooling show Jan 27, where she won both her Intro test C and training test 1 classes with scores of 82.5% snd 82.1%!!!! She did not put a foot wrong!!!

Rolling Stone Farm

Warmblood breeder for 44 years. Owner of large Oldenburg (GOV) and Hanoverian breeding farm in eastern PA. Young, well started dressage horses and occasional hunter prospects always available. USDF Bronze, Silver, Gold, Sapphire, Ruby and Platinum Breeder of Distinction. I have produced 39 Elite Mares and Elite Mare Candidates, and 3 State Premium Mares for the Hanoverian Society, and 32 Special Premium mares and 17 Verbands Premium mares, 191 Premium Foals and 48 Foals of Distinction for the German Oldenburg Verband. I have produced 9 licensed stallions, including the fully licensed and approved stallion named Shakespeare RSF (winner of the 2009 70 day stallion test), a licensed stallion named Somer Hit, 3 licensed stallions in 2012 (one from the first foal crop of Shakespeare RSF- Shotgun, also Dheputy and a stallion in Germany), Fhitzgerald and Sir James (both imported from Germany and successfully completed the 70 day stallion test here in the US), another licensed stallion in 2014 named Shavane- the second licensed Shakespeare RSF son who is out of homebred EM Rheporter (Royal Prince/Weltmeyer). In 2015 another Shakespeare son was licensed- Shortstop, who was Grand Champion at a USDF breed show in 2015. I have bred four top 6 FEI Young Horse National Champions and multiple HOY winners in hand and in dressage, and four winners of the Young Hunters Under Saddle at Hunter Devon. We stand Shakespeare RSF (Sandro Hit/Arrian). I estimate I have bred about 450 foals to date, and I also sell young stock and up to 20-25 riding horses a year. Some of my horses are fourth and fifth generation from my own breeding program. I started out in hunters and jumpers and then rode dressage up to the PSG level, not competing much due to family and farm commitments. I finally received her USDF Bronze and Silver medals in 2018. My homebred Hanoverians and Oldenburgs have been top ten in national dressage rankings and have won many under saddle and in hand classes at many shows such as Dressage at Devon (Grand Champion 2011 and Reserve Grand Champion 2021), NEDA (Grand Champion 2021 and 2022) and the hunter show at Devon. I have produced numerous champions and reserve champions at many in hand shows and has been in the top 8 ranking for USDF Dressage Breeder of the Year since 2013, leading that category in 2020 and 2022. I was the 2016 and 2018 USDF Dressage Sport Horse Breeding Breeder of the Year and have been in the top 16 since 2013. I have been the USEF Dressage Breeder of the Year every year 2014-2023 and was 2nd in that category from 2011-2013 and in 2022. In 2021 I was also the USEF Dressage Breeding Breeder of the Year and was in the top 4 for the USEF Dressage Sport Horse Breeder of the Year 2013- 2022. My greatest pleasure has been breeding suitable horses for the amateur market in the disciplines of dressage or hunter with an emphasis on rideability and movement.
