The Spicy One AKA "Red" is a fantastic filly, with beautiful, classic Trakehner bloodlines infused with modern sport horse-type Thoroughbred. She is FANCY. This filly is bold, friendly, inquisitive, and SUPER athletic. Bred with the intention of producing an eventing prospect, this filly has delighted us with not only her outgoing and brave temperament, but also her STUNNING conformation and outstanding movement. Despite be "half thoroughbred", she is a lovely mover and shows natural ability to carry herself lightly, with beautiful suspension and extension, while also digging deep and using her strongly muscled hind end and loin. She has a lovely, well-0set neck with a pretty, feminine head. She is robust without being unrefined. Don't let her name fool you…she is the perfect combination of sass and sweet!

Her dam, Tahra FLF, is one of my all-time favorite foals. Tara is sired by another of my all-time favorite foals, Argent Moon. Argent Moon was approved with an incredible score at his ATA inspections. Tara's dam and grandma, Tariana and tara Vom Castell, epitomized the best of Trakehner genetics (and they both rest here on our farm). Her sire, Beyond Blonde XX is QUITE a renaissance man! Although not a successful racehorse, he went into retraining immediately after retiring and has done a bit of everything...and done it well! Hunters/Jumpers, dressage, cross country, and he even worked a feedlot and was bred to QH mares to add some size to roping horses on a farm in SD.

Red has the potential to go in any direction, with the moves for upper levels, and on an amateur friendly-budget. It has always been my intention to produce an affordable foal for young, up and comers in the sport horse world, and it has been my pride and joy to see my babies go off and do big things. My babies are LOVED, and started well from the beginning, with farm fresh organic hay, age-specific grain rations/balancers, and regular deworming and 24/7 turnout where they learn to be horses, and build strong bones and muscles.
