Starfire was born on our farm and has been handled since birth. She has excellent barn manners, ties, cross-ties, stands for farrier/vet, stands quietly to be mounted, loads and trailers well.
10 yrs old, 15 hands, 1050 lbs, bay mare, registered with Half Arab Horse Registry.
She is soft in the bridle, goes in a snaffle, leg yields, and responds to light aids.
She is very good in the ring and on the trail. Very willing and sweet disposition.
At 10 years, she has a great foundation, experience, and is ready to continue in any discipline.
She spent 8 weeks at Longacres Riding Camp when she was 3 where she was handled by different people in a very active setting and did well. She was trail-ridden and introduced to cross-rails while there and jumps willingly.
She has been on our farm since then, trail- ridden and given a basic dressage foundation. She goes nicely english or western, but needs an intermediate to advanced rider. Great versatility: endurance, eventing, foxhunting, western/eng pleasure, etc.
She has elegant gaits and beautiful conformation. Must sell due to son in college and no farm help. She is a lovely mare.
