RAHZEPHON aka "Zephyr"

Stud Colt, Rahzephon.

Known as Zephyr in the barn, is a 2011 colt and presently stands at 16.1hh. He has been handled since his first arrival day. Stands quietly for the farrier to work on him.

Zephyr loves and respects people. His approach will never make you feel concerned for your safety. His loping canter is fluid. He breaks to a balanced, floating trot, with his haunches engaged, then to a comfortable walk as he gets closer to you, never in your space. Shows fantastic form and scope while free jumping.

Rahzephon is by the famous Canadian stallion Rio Grande, the number one Hunter/Jumper stallion in North America for three years. His record for producing excellent foals in so very well known I don't need to go into detail here.

Rahzephon's Dam is Cairo the Royal Winter Fair Champion Broodmare for 2010,in front of the internationally known Paul Hendrix, Brother to Grand Prix Jumper rider Emile Hendrix, (yes Ian Millar's contact that put him in touch with Big Ben) and in 2011, in front of the internationally known Dressage Judge and Coach Hilda Gurney. We were so very happy to see two internationally known and respected judges from different disciplines loved our mare.

We also have his full sister, a 3 year old mare, Dark Bay. standing approximately 16H 3 inches with the same personality traits.

The fact that we have two Rio Grande foals tells you how much I like his progeny. I have trained several young horses in the Rio Grande Line for clients and found them intelligent, easy to start, and willing to learn. Zephyr follows that pattern.
