"Beans" is a 7yo, 17.2H, attractive, tall/typey/sturdy gelding. Solid Black with some chrome, registered APHA. He has an extensive show career/record from the age 5 thru current year. In Dressage 2015-2017: Beans has won multiple High Point of Show at Intro, Tr Lvl and 1st Lvl, with scores ranging from high 60's to 75%. Also scores well into the 70's in 1st Lvl Musical Freestyle. Also year end High Score Championships, at respective Lvls, each year competed with local GMO. AND, in 2017, Beans has ribboned in 1st2/3 at Recognized Shows. In Jumpers 2017: Beans has been in the top ribbons and/or the Champion Baby Green Hunter O/F every time competed. In Hunters 2015: Beans was the winner of very large(40+) classes both English Pleasure and Open Adult English Pleasure. In Pony Club 2015-2017: Beans was the top scorer for the USPC Championship Team Tr Lvl, the USPC Reserve Championship Team 1st Lvl AND the USPC Third Place Championship Team Show Jumping. Beans is an excellent mount for a rider interested in earning year end National All Breeds Awards with APHA. He has the potential to continue earning many titles thru the levels and in various disciplines. He has he potential to excel in Western Dressage or Eventing, too! But, if buyer has no interest in showing, Beans is still a wonderfully versatile horse for pleasure riding. He is excellent on the trails and adores attention from his person. Beans is a seasoned traveler and is kind/personable to handle daily around the barn. He has been loved and taken care of well for the last 4yrs by the same owner. Sadly for sale because his young owner has started a teaching career fall 2017 and is also in school for her Masters....so her time is limited. Beans is a DREAM-OPPERTUNITY for AA/JR/PClubber seeking a well rounded, reliable and truly fun horse. Beans will remain advancing in a dressage training program until sold. PRICE REDUCED: The first buyers to look at Beans (15yo hunter jumper & her trainer) on Nov 30th loved him. In his PPE, xrays showed arthritic changes in hocks and kissing spine....he was still a very diagnostically sound horse to ride/lunge/flex. We made the decision to inject his hocks and admin OsPhos so that he is well set up for his future home. We recommend that he receives similar maintenance annually. Bean's price has been reduced to reflect these recent findings....a good home is of the upmost importance to us. Beans is still a well rounded horse, that we know will especially excel in the hunter jumper world. He is a very happy/reliable and forgiving jumper! We will post current jumping video soon but could email older jump videos upon request.
