International Sport Horse Deluxe!!!
Regina (Gigi) is large-boned and scopey with exceptional jumping form, strikingly elegant presence and CHROME. Her sire is Alex, imported KWPN (85% Gelders) out of a Sandokan (90% Gelders) KWPN mare. She is 3/4-sister to KWPN Fisher’s Gambler FEI Grand Prix dressage stallion.
Gigi is super-intelligent and engaging, loves new physical & mental challenges, is quiet with a willing work ethic; round, smooth and tidy jumping style; quality walk with ample over-track, animated powerful trot with nice suspension and a fabulous uphill canter with consistent rhythm and easy adjustability.
Regina is schooling 2nd Level Dressage, working on flying changes (90%+ auto over courses) & 1.40M jumps. Gigi schools on the flat and jumps in any simple snaffle with no martingale.
Regina was champion high-score horse in her very first dressage test at Training Level (73%) qualifying for 2022 USDF Region 9 finals where she placed top 10 (8th) in the open division. Regionals was only her second rated show ever in dressage.
Gigi is also showing in AO/JR hunter EQ (with a17 y/o & a 53 y/o rider) & 1.25+ M jumpers. She does not touch rails or refuse jumps. Regina is quietly bold & honest and does not get flustered when her rider makes mistakes. Gigi is a caretaker in tight or messy spots - she simply continues the round in her soft, steady rhythm. Regina happily loves her job and is ready to move up levels.
Regina has a regal presence in the barn and the show ring - She really turns heads! She has no vices and fabulous manners.
Gigi is the perfect horse for the talented young rider, amateur or trainer. She will easily go 1.40M+ FEI multi-star and upper level dressage.
This mare is WONDERFUL!!!
BONUS: Gigi drives too.
Regina was allowed to rest over the hot 2023 Texas summer months and is returning to form. She had no soundness issues. The reason for her lay-off was due to human circumstances. Her junior rider left for college and her mature rider had an injury requiring rehabilitation. Gigi had 2.5 steady and intense training and showing years (2021-June, 2023) so the rest was timely. She returned to work healthy, happy and fresh and her training has progressed positively without setback. She will be more than ready for 2024 show season.
Clean x-rays (Aug ‘22) available. Regina has not sustained any injuries of any kind to date.
