Sunshine Valley Freya, 2021 Mare
Freya is Connemara X Oldenburg. She is a petite just turned 3 year old mare, ready to go in any direction.
She is a beautiful mover with powerful gaits and jump. She is around 13.2hh (I haven’t sticked her) and still growing. Freya would make a competitive sport pony in any ring. She has been worked with on the ground and is ready to jump in to a program.
Freya is bred for success. Her sire is Connemara, Elphin Sunbird who is out of the well-know Maplehurst Michael Macdaire. Elphin Sunbird evented, has competed at the AEC’s, and has a fabulous attitude and presence.
Her dam For Faith was bred to succeed in the show ring, competing in eventing. She is out of For Play, a Hunter Stallion, out of For Pleasure the Grand Prix Show Jumper and 2000 Olympic Competitor. For Play has also proven himself in the dressage ring at the FEI level.
