Rue is the ideal low/no maintenance horse. Perfect for once a month riders, or 5x a week riders. She requires no prep, no lunging, no "ride her through it" moments. A true walk/trot packer as well as quiet to the jumps. Packs around a 2'6" with scope for 4'+ but no desire to be highly competitive. She is ideal for someone looking for a confidence booster as she has ZERO silliness in her.
She does have a few lumps and bumps, cosmetic only, such as her tail. NO Melanoma. She has been sound, barefoot, on any terrain for over 7 years (I've had her for nearly 8 years). She goes quietly on the buckle outside of an arena in any head gear (no really, a halter or neck rope is enough with her). Rides alone or in groups, predominantly roadside as that's all I have, and predominantly after 8pm year round, as that's when I get to ride. So if you're a skittish rider who likes midnight rides by the freeway, this mare is for you.

She has no vices and requires no maintenance. She sweats, her feet are sound, she is easy to catch, lead, load, trailer, bathe, clips, farrier, vets, breed, and foal out.
Speaking of foaling, she has had 2 wonderful GOV foals. Her first filly is in the hands of a Dressage rider with a goal of FEI level. Her colt is a snazzy Hunter/Jumper colt.
Both are by Mannhattan (GOV).
Rue herself is a multi Main Mare Book awarded Thoroughbred mare. GOV and RPSI both placed her in the MMB and she was awarded Site Champion, Premium mare who took 5th in the 2014 Tour with RPSI.
Rue is by Out of Place (Cox Ridge) and out of Legdrive(Holy Bull/Affirmed).

Buyer is welcome to have a vet come PPE her. I will happily discuss her lumps and bumps with a buyer, and have photos of such. Again, they are cosmetic only. I have an arena available to try Rue out, as well as some pasture with rolling hills right outside of the arena. Rue was in steady work from May 1 2019 to end of October 2019 3-5x a week. Since October has been more like 2-3x a month.
