Tallulah aka Lulu is by the stallion Tantris out of our mare Bijou. She is a lovely filly with three very nice gaits, already showing an uphill canter and sit down in the trot. Nice free shoulder and lovely conformation. This filly is so sweet but also outgoing and very brave. It's not uncommon to find her leaving her dams side to go explore her surroundings.
Her sire Tantris is an accomplished Grand Prix competitor who is also proving to be a potent and versatile sire. From Tantris's website : Tantris’s pedigree includes Tantris’s sire, Traumdeuter, a Trakehner, approved as a Hanoverian and Oldenburg breeding stallion. His dam’s sire, Aktuell, is a St. Pr. H. (state premium stallion) in the Hanoverian and Oldenburg German studbooks. The great event horse, Volturno, who won the silver medal in the 1976 Olympics, is his grandsire on the dam’s side. In addition to a busy breeding schedule each year, he has consistently won many National Championships from Training Level in 1993 through Grand Prix in 2004 (Tantris won both the BLM and USDF All-Breeds Championships at Intermediaire II for 2003 and was Reserve Champion for Grand Prix at GAIG in 2004) as well as many Breed Show Championships.
Bijou is a sensitive Bolero granddaughter out of a gorgeous Akzent II dam. She has wonderful rideability, aiming to please her rider and possessing beautiful responsiveness to the aids, she had a pasture injury that sidelined her undersaddle career for a while so she has now had two foals that show great potential for eventing and dressage. Bijou has lovely movement, an extravagant trot, and a ground-covering, uphill canter. Full sibling was trained to I-1. A main studbook mare with the AHS, Bijou received 8s for femininity/type and saddle position. Bijou had a super colt by Noble Champion in 2011. She is a refined and pretty mare of elegant type and movement.
Tallulah is available for $8500 with terms available to an approved home. Her price includes board until weaned and her inspection (she and her dam will be taken to an OHBS/GOV inspection). Don't miss out as we think this filly is quite special!! We like her so much we're repeating the breeding. Located in Chesapeake, Va.
The two pics of the chestnut are of her dam Bijou. Last pic is of her sire, Tantris.
