Teague FLF is a gorgeous, correct colt by the newly approved stallion, Argent Moon FLF, and out of Tariana (Graditz *E* x Avignon II). Teague has nice bone and large joints, and a lovely expression and modern type. He should mature to 16.1 1/2 hands. He has three strong gaits, with a powerful hindquarter and good shoulder, and a great neck. He is an outstanding dressage prospect, but with the potential and athleticism for jumpers and eventing. Teague is very friendly, and is easy to handle for haltering and stands quietly when trimmed by the farrier. My farrier has commented "THIS is how all colts should behave!" and it is truly a testament to his natural demeanor, as I have raised him as I raise the rest of my babies. He is very much his sires' son, willing and relaxed about everything.
His sire was approved in August 2011 with an incredible score of 63 points, and is currently showing in hunters. His dam is a lovely mover and is a proven broodmare, with offspring currently training and/or competing as well as continuing her lines as breeding stock.
I had originally intended on keeping Teague as my own personal stallion prospect, after being so thrilled with raising his sire up from a baby and seeing him with his new owner showing so much success and promise right from their start together. However, our family has been slowly downsizing in an effort to move into our own facility, and that dream is now reality with the purchase of a new farm. I know I will not have the time Teague deserves to get him started in training come Spring. He is priced to sell for the remainder of 2012!
