This absolutely gorgeous 5 year old, 16.2hh registered ADHHA (American Dutch Harness Horse Association) horse is impeccably built and American bred. Rose is a beautiful bay mare with three white socks and a pretty white star. She has elegant bone, perfect confirmation, and the kindest eye. ADHHA horses are known to be great movers for dressage, eventing, hunters, and so much more! Rose is already showing the talent and the movement for these disciplines, with a lovely personality in the barn too. And what makes Rose absolutely incredible is that she doesn’t have the knee action that make ADHHA horses very discipline specific. She carries herself like an imported warmblood and because of that, she is going to be unstoppable in any show ring. Rose can also be registered with KWPN-NA.

Rose was sourced by our client to be a project, sales, and show horse. Brought along slowly, thoughtfully, and correctly, Rose is becoming a stunning riding horse. She goes nicely walk, trot, and canter under saddle with three incredible gaits. This is a ten mover and therefore could be a pure dressage horse. She is learning lateral movements and inching her way towards mastering all of first level dressage movements easily. She has also started jumping under saddle and absolutely loves it! Rose keeps a lovely pace around a course of small jumps and shows a natural ability for an automatic lead change. She jumps around very much like a hunter and with her good looks, we could also see her cleaning up in the hunter ring. Rose is also quite brave and keen, happy in her work, and enjoys learning new things every day. With such a positive attitude, we also think she could do eventing or make a lovely all-around horse too. And best of all, Rose has been out trail riding and hacking and loves it! No matter what adventure you are on, she goes around happily in just a plain snaffle, whether flatting or jumping! Rose is also a very quiet and safe horse, as in her former life, she served as a wedding horse (and had to deal with lots of strange things). Nothing fazes this one, so sky’s the limit with this incredible mare!

In the barn, Rose is easy, easy, easy! An absolute sweetheart and love of a horse. Loves attention! Perfect on the cross ties, for grooming or a bath. Stands nicely for the vet, farrier, and dentist. Loads right up for any adventures on the trailer. Stands quietly at the mounting block. Really good in turnout with other mares or a mixed herd. Rose very much has a caring, mom personality and is not marish at all. While she does tend to be the boss in her current field, she is a nice and calm boss. You would never actually know that she is the boss, as she never pins her ears or never does anything naughty ever.

Rose has zero vices. Not a one. She has never bucked or reared or done anything bad ever. Never hot. A super easy keeper too and will do anything for a treat. No maintenance with excellent feet. Only currently in front shoes as she is jumping and in full training. But she’s been barefoot in work before and could go barefoot again (if we ever get out of these drought conditions here in Virginia). Great inside or out. Happy stalled or out twenty-four seven. Up to date on everything, including vaccines, coggins, dental, and deworming. And nothing bothers Rose. Her current farm even has some low hanging power lines that produce a loud humming sound and she could care less! Just a quiet warmblood mare that is stunning too!

Rose’s perfect match would be a rider looking to bring up their next horse in dressage, eventing, hunters, or anything in-between. She would make a lovely all-around horse with her pet personality too. Because she is so quiet and kind, an ammy or junior rider would enjoy bringing her along just as much as a professional. And while she has three incredible gaits, Rose is not a giant mover, making her incredibly balanced and well developed for her age and training (and therefore suited to a number of different riders).
