'Sevvy' is an eye catching and good minded palomino colt. He was born on March 23, 2022 to the delight of his owner, who is a boutique breeder of the Irish Draught and Irish Draught Sport Horse breed located in Aubrey, Texas. His sire, Goldmaker JCTB, successfully completed his 70 day Stallion Performance Test in 2011, making him the ONLY Cremello Thoroughbred stallion in North America to be fully licensed and approved with a warmblood registry. He received high marks for his rideability, character, beautiful bascule and lovely form. Proving himself to be enthusiastic and talented over fences, the judges also remarked on his exceptional cross country ability including his willing and forward temperament. 'Sevvy's' chestnut dam is a fully Approved and Registered Irish Draught who competed in the USEA Future Event Horse Series (FEH), Dressage and local Hunter Shows before turning to her true talent in 2013, that of a Broodmare. 'Roxie', as she's known around the ranch, is a prolific producer of lovely youngsters, all of which have gone on to compete in FEH and YEH, Young Horse Show Series, and The US Event Horse Futurity. 'Sevvy' is a traditionally bred 50/50 cross of Irish Draught and Thoroughbred, making him a desirable mount for the upper levels of any discipline.

Since birth, 'Sevvy' has been handled daily, loads in the trailer and patiently stands for the vet, farrier and grooming. Working in hand and on the lunge, he shows elastic and balanced gaits, and enjoys new lessons. He lives mostly out but is also comfortable in his stall. At his first competition on April 9th, the 2023 SCF Young Horse Show Series, Texas Qualifier, In Hand/At Liberty he achieved a qualifying score of 7.64.

'Sevvy' has two siblings by different Thoroughbred stallions who have been very successful in the FEH competitions, showing great promise as eventers. 'Rooney', a 4YO mare won her first Open Beginner Novice competition and is entered in The 2023 US Event Horse Futurity. Another sibling, 'Perry', was named the Overall Two Year Old Champion and Champion Colt this past Fall at the Central US FEH Championships.

'Sevvy' is expected to mature to 16+ hands as his Sire was 16.1hh and his dam is 17.2hh.
