Toblerone, 2014 Premium GOV gelding

**New Video Added 5/27** Destined for a successful dressage career, Toblerone is as sweet as his name-sake. He was considered by the GOV inspection committee to be a Premium colt with lovely expressive gaits, and a powerful hind end. His neck and shoulder set are quite uphill. 'Toby' is sweet and gentle with one of the kindest eyes I have seen. He's been handled daily since birth and has begun some basic Parelli training. He is particularly friendly and always comes up to his people looking for scratches on his itchy spots.

His sire, Tantris, was shown through GP by FEI-I judge Jeanne McDonald, and he is known to pass on his excellent rideability and mind to his offspring. From the Turning Point Farm website: Tantris is a proven Grand Prix dressage competitor and a potent, versatile sire from one of the most important mare lines in Germany today. He consistently passes along his remarkable temperament and character, balanced, uphill topline, powerful hindquarters and great feet! His athletic and versatile offspring have been successful in dressage, hunters and combined driving with over 90% rebreeding!Tantris is by Traumdeuter, a Trakehner, who is also approved by both the Hanoverian and Oldenburg Verbands. His dam’s sire, Aktuell is a St. Pr. H. in the Hanoverian and Oldenburg German studbooks. The great event horse, Volturno, who won the silver medal in the 1976 Olympics, is the grandsire on the dam’s side. In addition to a busy breeding schedule each year, he has consistently won championships from Training Level in 1993 through Intermediare II in 2003 (Tantris won both the BLM and USDF All Breeds Championships at Intermediare II for 2003) as well as many Breed Show Championships.

Toblerone's W-line Hanoverian dam, Wai Ele, is an extremely elastic mover and her pedigree is loaded with dressage greats. She is an elite-eligible mare and will be completing her mare performance test in 2015. She is lovely to ride - quite sensitive to the aids and lots of power. She is easy to handle, as you can see in the videos... a brain worth breeding! She has super conformation, lots of elasticity in her gaits, great feet and super tight legs (tendons). As for her pedigree, she is by the Hanoverian stallion, Wildcard. Wildcard has wonderful dressage bloodlines- Wenzel I on top and Pik Koenig on the bottom. Wenzel 1 was considered the #1 dressage sire in 1997 and 1998 by the WBFSH. Elle is out of a Wertherson Hanoverian mare - Wertherson was an extremely successful FEI competitor and is well-known as an exceptional broodmare-sire.

We expect that Toblerone will have a successful dressage career and will really bond with his owner/rider. Don't pass up this exceptional and sweet guy!

Telos Farm Warmbloods

Telos Farm Warmbloods, LLC is a breeding farm located in the beautiful rolling countryside of Columbia City, Indiana. We strive to produce quality warmblood horses (Trakehner and Hanoverian heritage) with excellent temperaments, athleticism and longevity. While our primary focus is dressage, we often have eventers or hunters for sale and will thoroughly evaluate each horses's potential for the various show rings. We prefer horses with calm, trainable temperaments, but still possessing good gaits and rideability for dressage, particularly the walk. Potential "keeper" broodmares are brought to their mare performance testing to achieve the elusive 'elite mare' status. Other broodmares come to our farm following a successful sport career. Telos was founded and is managed by Sarah Randolph who competed through 4th level dressage and evented through Preliminary . Her working student experience as a youth with 4* FEI Judge and stallion owner/breeder Jeanne McDonald gave her a great basis for developing young horses and choosing the right mares and stallions for the Telos program. Sarah continues to run the gamut of needs on a breeding farm, from choosing the best pairings, ultrasounding and inseminating mares, designing the broodmare nutrition program, foaling out, and then the fun part - working with the foals and young horses so they learn how to be excellent riding partners for their years to come. Sarah also begins long-lining late 2 year olds, and starts them under saddle as late 3 year olds, early 4. She works with talented trainers to help bring out the best in them, taking clinics with Jeanne McDonald, Whitney Peterson-McIntosh, and a classical focus from Lynda Weese. Thank you for reading about our program! We believe that quality should come over quantity when raising horses the right way, and we appreciate horses bred for athleticism, temperament, and longevity.
