Tokio is a 2003 Holsteiner Mare Stamm 776. This gal has been used as a broodmare for most of her life. This decision was made strictly because of her genetics. Her two full sisters have had broodmare careers as well and are still producing foals in Germany. While Tokio has never competed in sport, she has many relatives that are doing well in the 1.40m+ as well as approved stallions. She completed her mare test in Germany as a youngster with 50 bonits and a 9 on canter. She had a handful of foals in Germany prior to purchasing her. She joined our family and was imported in 2011. Since we have had Tokio, she has given super foals by Cassin, Cristo, Connor, Comme il Faut, and Crespo VDL. All have been sold at a young age and have gone to homes where they will be developed for the show ring. From the feedback I have received, her offspring going under saddle have excellent ridability.

Tokio is currently open and ready for you to pick her next match. Her pedigree allows for a wide variety of stallion choices. She is easy to breed, a spectacular mother, and a joy to have in the barn. She is not overbearing, will allow you to work with her foal, and keeps her distance. To handle, she is simple, loves being groomed, and has an in your pocket personality. She 100% loves her job as a mother and is a pro! Her foals are all leggy, strong in the back, with big movement, scope, and lovely personalities. She stamps her offspring with many of her qualities.

We are only selling her due to downsizing our herd. A good home is a must. This mare will not disappoint and will be an excellent addition to a breeding program. No problems or health issues in the past. She has always been an easy breeder with frozen semen and the last go around was with cooled.
