Callaghen's sire, Narcos II, was 16.3 and is the sire of over 30 approved sons. He made countless 1.60m jumpers and ranked highly on the WBFSH sire rankings through two decades. Narcos II won young horse championships, then went on to winning Nations Cup teams throughout the world. He finished his career with 178 victories, and has had equal success in the breeding shed.

This colt's mother, Nyx, did the young jumpers before becoming a broodmare due her bloodlines and performance proven motherline. Nyx's mother, Quidamselle, jumped internationally, including in the Pan Am Games. Quidamselle's mother, Genevieve, also jumped internationally, including in the Sydney Olympics. Genevieve's mother is also the mother of two approved sons - Frohwind and Furiano.

Nyx's sire, Voltaire, jumped at the top of the sport with a sensational career, then had similar results as a sire. Quidam de Revel was the #1 producer of international jumpers in 2003 and 2004, including having 10 offspring in the WEG in 2002, plus he finished 4th in the Olympics. Galoubet won gold in the Olympics in 1982 and sired such stars as Baloubet du Rouet and Quick Star.
