Breeding: Tambourghini x Argentinius

Imported from France in 2011, Udea has been on the right track from the beginning. A fantastic modern type, Udea has been backed at the age of 3, then given the year to adjust to her new training. Once her training resumed at age 4, her mind and body were ready to go. Udea is a tall exquisite mare, very willing, well mannered and brave. She is not spooky and has a super bold character full of presence. During her early training, Udea spent the winter in Wellington, Florida as well as on the Quebec and Ontario show circuit. She is incredibly easy to ride and jump, taking direction from her rider incredibly well. She has ground covering expressive gaits and the most amazing canter. Udea is a born jumper. She loves it! Although she is still young, she is very easy to steer around the course and with natural curiosity and a brave attitude. Udea has been shown on the Wellington, FL (shown by Erynn Ballard), Ontario and Quebec circuit up to 1.15m. Udea also attended the Vermont and Kentucky shows with placings in the 1.2m shows.

Her dam is none other then the grand prix mare Banda De Hus. The Oldenburg Argentinus-daughter, Banda has booked many international successes under Staut and Wathelet. In 2013 the mare was taken out of sports temporarily to flush embryo’s at Haras de Hus, there are now three surrogates with embryos of Numero Uno, Con Air and L’arc de Triomphe. The mare returned in November in Opglabeek with Belgian champion Wathelet and was sold to the U.S. afterwards. She will now be ridden by Ashley Fleischhacker.

Tambourghini is a 14 year old stallion. He was an active breeding stallion in France, producing top young horses for the jumping sport. He has phenomenal athleticism, natural scope as well as a great mind. He has been sold to Turkey to compete under a Turkish rider. He is currently competing in the 1.45m and 1.5m CSI*** shows.
