Ukiah WSS - "Kiah" - Utopie x Caliope - a gritty red filly with double whorls and the potential to impress as a jumper or eventer. High % TB blood should give this girl the speed and stamina to finish on her XC score, but her movement suggests her dressage could be plenty strong as well! Kiah has had age-appropriate handling including leading and has had her feet done.

Kiah's dam, Caliope, is a tall, strong, and forward mare by the BWP stallion Puerto D'Azur and out of the Thoroughbred mare Wundtree's Promise (Crowabout). Puerto D'Azur impressed at his 100-day test, with super scores for both dressage and jumping. His offspring have gone on to show in multiple disciplines.

Caliope was the #2 yearling in the nation at the BWP Keuring with an overall score of 72 (the #1 yearling had a score of 73; one other yearling had a 72, and all the others had 71 or below). She was owned and loved by a college student turned medical student for most of her life, and competed in a variety of disciplines at the schooling level. At the age of 19 she is still sound and being ridden by a teenage rider; she particularly enjoys jumping in the arena and hacking around the property. She showed great technique jumping higher fences in the jump chute (video will be attached to this ad). Caliope is energetic, bold, and forward, with a lot of power and enthusiasm for speed.
