Ackie is a junior/AA's dream dressage mount and is ready to step into the show ring. He has three quality gaits, easy to handle on the ground, re-started by a teen in 2020 as a jumper and transitioned to dressage in 2023. He spent over a year in professional training with a very experienced GP trainer while his owner was pregnant/with a newborn. Currently schooling 2nd level with plenty of room for more! He had 'jumper' changes so will need help learning more correct flying changes but has a lovely counter canter and is solidifying his simple changes.

Ackie loves to go for a trail ride either alone or in company, can take a joke, and has equal amounts of whoa and go. He requires minimal maintenance (hocks this spring for the first time) and currently has front shoes. He has not competed sanctioned dressage, but he does have lifetime registrations with USEF and USDF, along with his Jockey Club All Breeds' Registration. Selling only because he greatly prefers dressage, and with a toddler I only have the time to chase after one discipline! (I'm an eventer)

He bathes, clips, loads, hauls, stands for the vet and farrier etc. and is the same horse on 2 weeks of stall rest as he is with overnight turnout. He does crib; I don't require any control at my farm, but he has worn a collar with success. Ackie is a bit of a princess, loves pampering, and really wants someone that will really bring out the DQ in him. UTD on all farrier, vet and dental work, microchipped, gets regular bodywork and PEMF.

Looking to move him along somewhat quickly before he really ends up on the back burner!
