Uptown Funk CCE "Funky" is a barn favorite of his foal crop. He is very outgoing and playful, yet it sweet and cuddly. He enjoys playing in the pasture with his friends and coming over to get butt scratches from his people. He has 3 very expressive uphill gaits with a spectacular head and neck. He was presented at the KWPN-NA keuring with a score of 76!

He is sired by our stallion Nox Van Heemstate who was imported in early 2021 from the great Heemstate stud farm in the Netherlands. He is currently the only son of the International Grand Prix Vivaldi son Expression available in North America. He has demonstrated an outstanding confident character that he has passed onto his offspring.

Funky’s dam is our lovely mare Iluna who is a granddaughter of the Prestatie mare Fair Thee Well who produced 5 Grand Prix horses and 7 FEI horses. Iluna’s first foal is successfully going under saddle and showing an outstanding character and willingness to learn. Iluna herself was lightly started under saddle and showed a pleasant and work willing personality.

Funky's quality is paired with a lovely bright red coat and matching chrome sure to make him stand out everywhere he goes. We expected him to mature around to 16.2 hands or potentially slightly shorter with an outstanding personality and FEI quality gaits.
