V Eight is a 16.1H, 2002 KWPN 1st Premium, Keur-eligible mare by KWPN Keur stallion, OO Seven out of KWPN Ster mare, Mistral. V Eight was #6 on the KWPN TOP 10 List for 2002 foals. She was #3 on TOP 5 mare for KWPN-NA in 2005 for movement. She has had approximately 8 months of dressage training but has not been ridden for many years. She was bred in 2013 to Connaisseur and had a filly in 2014, J Frank. Sire, OO Seven is the very attractive Black stallion son of Rubenstein who was Champion of KWPN Stallion Performance Test 1999, Res. Champ. PAVO Cup 2000 and has gone on to be a successful Grand Prix performer as well as a remarkable breeding stallion in Europe and now Australia. Dam, Mistral was a 1994 imported KWPN Ster mare by Vincent. She was the Reserve Champion mare at the National Mare Show at Ermelo in The Netherlands in 1998. V Eight’s half-brothers out of Mistral include the licensed stallion, Thatcher – Lifetime approved RPSI and ISR/Oldenburg; the now gelded, Still Here - Second Ring in the KWPN Stallion Selection in 2003 and semi-finalist in the PAVO Cup in August, 2003; and additionally three colts bred by Scot Tolman from 2013-2015 who were all 1st Premium, and/or site champions at their respective KWPN foal keurings.
