Tall, Long-lined, Uphill Moving 2025 KWPN-NA Dutch Warmblood Colt by Cum Laude x Aljano

Val Kilmer is an impressive 2025 KWPN-NA colt sired by Cum Laude and out of the Holsteiner FEI dressage mare Audrey, by Aljano. He is modern in his type with lots of expression, long lines, and a natural uphill balance to his movement. He has decent bone and should mature over 17H, appropriate for the taller rider. Val Kilmer is handled daily within our raising program and displays a nice, agreeable character. With both sire and dam successful to international Small Tour level, this colt is a top prospect for any serious rider looking for a young horse to develop through the levels for the future. Located and available to be seen in Coatesville, PA.

Sire Cum Laude, a son of the international Grand Prix horse Apache, Preferent, is now making a name for himself as a top breeding stallion in North America after enjoying success in the performance rings of Europe. Under Vai Bruntink, Cum Laude was developed through the young horse classes up to the CDI3* level, including winning his CDI small tour debut at the World Championships for Young Horses with a 71.618% in the Prix St. Georges. The Cum Laude offspring have been well received at their keurings, with several Elite daughters and First Premium foals to his credit, as well as the son No Worries SL being selected for the second-round viewing of the KWPN stallion show. Cum Laude passes on his very good type, workmanlike attitude and top gaits under saddle.

Dam Audrey is sired by the Grand Prix stallion Aljano, and out of the mare Nikita IX, by Caletto I. A representative of her top Holsteiner lineage, Audrey is an impressive, long-lined mare with top gaits. Prior to her breeding career, she amassed good results at PSG/I1 level, including placings within the top 10 at the 2016 CDI-W Odense. Her sire Aljano sired numerous Grand Prix horses in both Dressage and Jumping and a number of approved stallion sons, including the Grand Prix horse Aljour. Aljano himself is a maternal half-sibling to the Dutch Olympic team horse and approved breeding stallion Silvano N. In addition to Audrey, the granddam Nikiti IX also produced a Grand Prix Show Jumper. Known for adding soundness and good power in the gaits, Holsteiner blood can be found in the pedigrees of many modern Dressage horses.
