Valeroso SMDR is a 16 hh, 2016 PRE (Andalusian) revised (approved) stallion. Val, as he is called at home, is by the amazing PRE stallion Norte Lovera (Cortesano VII x Aquiles III) who was a member the 2013 Dressage Champion of Spain and a member of the Spanish team for many years. His dam is the Best Movement Champion and a Reserve National Champion Spanish mare. Her sire is the stunning Enamorado VII (out of a Adelante II mare) who was trained and shown by Olympian Hilda Gurney.
Val clips, bathes, trailers, is good for the farrier and vet. Just like his father, Val is a very obedient and well-behaved stallion.

Valeroso is a fun-loving guy who is easy to work with on the ground and under saddle. He has three extremely comfortable gaits with his canter being a highlight. His canter is very uphill, balanced and smooth and is very easy to extend and collect. His walk has huge overstride and four clear beats. Val’s lovely trot is improving as he develops, and we expect he will have a trot very similar to his gorgeous father (who scored a 72% at the 2014 WEG).

This fun guy has traveled to many different barns and is very easy-going. He is not spooky at all, nor does he buck or bolt.

He is very well suited for just about any rider who is comfortable with younger horses. He is continuing to learn and advance daily and loves to train or just go for a hack.
Val is currently in full training with USDF Gold Medal rider Petra Warlimont (45 min west of Denver International Airport).
