Vasilii is a 16.2 hand (and still growing) 3-year-old Hanoverian/Thoroughbred cross chestnut gelding. Vasilii is a second generation homebred on both sides, and we are very excited to watch him develop! Vasilii has been gently started under saddle and is walking, trotting, and cantering. He has a naturally high safety rating and excellent character. He is pleasingly forward without being hotheaded or spooky. He has a beautiful canter that is wonderful to sit. Vasilii has a wide blaze and white on all four legs! He has excellent barn manners, no vices and is just easy to have around. Vasilii is absolutely beautiful with a stunning head. Cross ties, stands for grooming and tacking up, no vices, trailers well. He loves being caught and is always up for attention and a ride.

We bred and raised both Vasilii’s sire and dam, and owned all four of his grandparents, so know his pedigree well. His dam, Sing Your Dreams, is a beautiful and kind mare that we successfully competed through the Novice level at rated events as a 4-year-old before retiring her to the breeding shed. Sing Your Dreams’ sire, Oh My Stars, sired numerous eventers for us, all possessing a strong desire to jump. Sing Your Dreams’ dam, Send It All, was the dam of a number of foals for us, all possessing high rideability.

Vasilii’s sire, Ilios, was injured as a foal and did not have a career. However, Ilios is sired by Well Said, a horse that sired many foals for us, all possessing very level heads and naturally high safety ratings. Well Said is by the same stallion as CCI 5* horse, AP Prime. Ilios’ dam, Sidnae, competed through the preliminary level in eventing and then retired to the hunters before becoming a broodmare for us. Sidnae was sired by Salieri, sire of Olympic dressage gold medalist, Salinero, and Olympic show jumper, Seven Up.
