Howie is a coming 5 year old Danish Warmblood imported in 2023. I’ve owned him since he was a foal. He is was started a bit late- December of 2022- so he is just a year under saddle, but you would never know it by riding him. He gives the rider an incredibly secure feeling. Howie has been to a show and handled himself well off property. He hacks out alone or in a group- and truly has no vices, no buck, no rear, no bolt. I rode him throughout my entire pregnancy as well. His spook is a small startle and always from an honest place. You can give him weeks off (I had to have the baby at some point) and he comes back to work the same. He can be ridden with or without a whip or spur and is easy to put together.

His character is a 150 out of 10- off the charts. He has an incredibly sweet nature that allows him to be ridden by literal beginners. He never says no and is up for a challenge making him fun for a professional. He is truly the best of both worlds. I have taught lessons to several amateurs and juniors on him and he takes it all in stride. He herds goats and is nearly “ranch broke” despite being a sport horse. He is the calmest and most trainable horse I have ever ridden, yet is not at all lazy and enjoys his work. Two children and not enough time forces me to sell him to someone who will be able to enjoy him and help him reach his full potential.

Howie has perfect ground manners, is easy to clip, shoe, bathe, load, you name it. He’s currently barefoot behind. Howie also has a complete set of good X-rays from the past year.
