Quality coming two year old colts available! All 3/4 Thoroughbred, 1/4 Hanoverian, registered American Warmbloods. Their names are Vesuvius, Illyrio (SOLD), and Agony. We bred them to event. However, they could excel in other disciplines, as well. All three colts are sired by Ilios, a Hanoverian/Thoroughbred cross. Ilios is sired by Well Said (Aptitude -- Few Choice Words, by Valid Appeal), a Grade 3 stakes placed winner. Well Said is out of a mare who produced multiple steeplechasers and multiple stakes winners. Well Said is a paternal brother to the CCI**** horse, AP Prime. Ilios is out of the Hanoverian mare, Sidnae (Salieri -- Cavalkade, by Cavalier). Sidnae competed through the preliminay level in eventing. Salieri is the sire of the dressage Olympic gold medallist, Salinero, as well as the Olympic show jumper, Seven Up. The dams of the colts are French, Irish and turf bred Thoroughbreds. All colts are bay/brown. All have straight legs and teeth, excellent feet, big bones, and good minds. They are big, strapping colts; presently 15.3 to 16.2 hands (measured), to mature 16.2 to 17.1 hands. They are sound and healthy, current on all care, very friendly, pony nicely, and are saddle/bridle broken, to make them easy to start when it is time for that. They have been raised in a large pasture (45 acres) with a dozen or so other horses, so have had a lot of natural exercise and socialization to set them up for a sound, productive life. Their joints are clean and tight. $7,500 each. Located in Augusta, WV, 28 miles west of Winchester, VA. 309-376-2144. Please email, text, or call with inquires. We will board them for just $200/month until they are older, if you so desire.
